Malta is in the EU, and your paperwork still matters

Household goods entering Malta clear customs at Valletta. Movers transferring their main residence can usually import used belongings free of duty, provided the documents are right, and that part is our job.

Proof of residence transfer

Evidence you are settling in Malta, such as a rental contract or property deed, supports duty relief.

VAT relief on used goods

Used household effects owned for six months or more usually enter free of VAT and duty.

Vehicle imports
